متن کاملHeavy - Light Decay Constants : Conclusions from the Wilson Action
As is well known, precise computations of heavy-light decay constants such as fB would place stringent constraints on the Standard Model. Reference [1] describes our recently completed evaluation of these decay constant using the Wilson action. We have good control of all sources of error within the quenched approximation. By comparing our quenched results with those from lattices with two avor...

متن کاملQuenched heavy-light decay constants.
We present results for heavy-light decay constants, using both propagating quarks and the static approximation, inO(a)-improved, quenched lattice QCD. At β = 6.2 on a 243×48 lattice we find fD = 185 + 4 − 3 (stat) + 42 − 7 (syst) MeV, fB = 160 + 6 − 6 + 53 − 19 MeV, fDs/fD = 1.18 + 2 − 2 and fBs/fB = 1.22 + 4 − 3 , in good agreement with earlier studies. From the static theory we obtain f stat ...
متن کاملHeavy - light decay constants on the lattice
We present results for the leptonic decays of heavy-light mesons in the quenched approximation and a preliminary result for fD s with dynamical fermions for N f = 2. We examine the systematic effects of extrapolating the decay constants from the charm to the bottom quark mass, and find this extrapolation to be under control. We present a preliminary result for f N f =2 Ds and compare to f N f =...
